Adonai & I

Adonai & I is a project spearheaded by former John Brown's Body bassist David Gould which sets traditional hebrew prayers and chants to crushing dubwise roots reggae rhythms. Included on this project were JBB's horns and rhythm section plus members of Boston based rocksteady outfit Pressure Cooker. Also featured is vocalist Amy Glicklich. The CD is distributed by Rerooted Media out of New York City and is available in stores everywhere.

Dub remixes of these tracks are available on John Zorn's Tzadik Records as David Gould's "Adonai in Dub". The remixes were performed by a masterful team including: Jamie Saft, Bill Laswell, and John Zorn. Two bonus tracks are included on "Adonai in Dub" that are not on the I-Town version of the record. "Adonai in Dub" is available at www.Tzadik.com and in stores everywhere.
