Celebrating the release of their debut CD, “Postcard Angels,” The Thins are a high-energy, drum-and-bass acoustic power trio featuring AJ Strauss ( The Sutras, Jennie Stearns Band ) on upright bass, Brian Dudla ( Mary Lorson and St. Low, Plastic Nebraska ) on drums and Gabriel Tavares ( Jennie Stearns Band, Plastic Nebraska ) on acoustic guitar. Full-throated vocal harmonies, punchy rhythms and innovative songwriting tinged with shades of the east make this one of the most unique and exciting bands to emerge in 2004.
